We welcome you to our home in our reefs (part of the Mesoamerican Reef, second largest in the world), cenotes (sinkholes to underground rivers, caverns and caves) and highly interesting spots of archaeologic and anthropologic interest. Tulum Pro Divers is thus more than you average diving shop; it is a training centre for professional and technical divers, right in the middle of one of the world’s top diving destinations. We alos offer in complementing the diving with kayaking and jungle trails hiking so you have the most comprehensive of all Riviera Maya ecotouristic, sustainable and lifestyle defining experiences.

Here’s what we offer:

Reef diving

Reef Diving activities will serve our certified customers. PADI, SDI, NAHUI, SEMASy FEMAS. Reef diving is a pleasant experience. Getting there requires very short boat trips and our tropical Riviera Maya waters offer fabulous views that can be easily enjoyed since we seldom have noticeable currents.

Cave diving

Customers need to have a minimum of 10 to 15 dives, depending on how frequent have they done these. Cave diving with us implies we will review and improve your diving techniques with buoyancy control, flashlight signalling and proper behaviour for this type of environments.

Cenotes visit and snorkelling

Anybody can enjoy this pleasing experience and no prior diving experience is needed to practice it.

Reef snorkelling

We can get up to nine people on board of an 18 ft boat. The programme includes three spots in waters off Tulum Ruins that are a snorkelling sanctuary. The experience lasts an hour and a half.

Reef kayaking and snorkelling

You will be able to row their kayaks freely, anchor in a desired spot and get into a most intimate sea experience. Rowing offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sea silent greatness.

Training

DSD (Discovery & Scuba Diving). Also known as a diving baptism, does not require any previous expertise and is the first step advisable to anybody that is interested in diving and getting to know the world beneath the surface. We observe PADI norms during the experience.

Price:

OWD (Open Water Diver). A four days training, plus theory exam and diving certification exercises, as per PADI handbook.

Price:

AD (Advanced Diver). Aims at bettering the OWD skills through the practice of a night dive, a deep dive, navigation exercises and an emergency drill.

Price:

RD (Rescue Diver). A technical diving course for open waters. It is the step before becoming a divemaster.

DM (Divemaster). Prepares the diver to be a professional one and keeps him up to date as per PADI standards.
